I'm working as a part time for my friend who works under a event company. I had been working for him in a couple of events and every event is interesting. *smiles* This time round I decided to blog what I did in the event. I met up with Michael for breakfast and together after breakfast we head to PSA for the event.

Basically my job is to enter the vessel(which you can see in the picture) to guide the SP(Singapore Polytechnic) student to enter and to leave the vessel safely. I must say it's pretty interesting, I mean other then boarding a cruise ship(which I never board/try before aka vessel virgin) or you work dealing with vessel, there's no way for me to hang around in such a cool vessel.

Today is also the opening ceremony of this new vessel known as "Sui An Rickmers". Once the arrival of the SP student, first they had to go through a briefing, after that it's our job to guide them along the way.

There's a total of 3 of us and we were known as the vessel co-ordinator. While the student were asking question and stuff, I took the chance to take a few shot from the control room using my handphone.

After the control room, they were guide to the engine room which again I think it's pretty cool. The heat in the engine room is pretty warm and I must say I have to respect the staff working/maintaining the engine room. *salute*

I also took the chance to take a few shoot on the vessel and helmet must be wear at all times when you enter the vessel. Safety is very important. End of the day I grab Michael to take photo with me along with our messy hair. *grinz*

So this is part of event that I work. Like I was saying, every event is interesting as I get to see/handle different people. Although some of the event it's pretty tough like today we had to wear helmet when it's really warm or we have to station under the sun to keep things going but overall, the job itself is never stagnant which makes it fun. *smiles*
